I like it - nice to see him finally rip off an arm (or did he do so before and I'm forgetting?) - but I agree it doesn't fit in in that part of the film tonally.

I still hope they make Chewie more.... than a walking carpet. I like as much as they did with him in the new movie.... raiding the base, Han says "Let's do this," but then Chewie grumbles, and Han says something like, "Yeah better idea." And he took the initiative and stayed for Rey as Starkiller Base was blowing up. This is a new aspect of his character... I like it. I am going to keep that deleted scene in my head cannon... I like how he came to Rey's defense in a badass way, even before he ripped the arm off.

A film creator is kind of limited by Chewie's inability to speak English. Not that they can't flesh him out a bit more, but you can only go so far before you have to introduce subtitles. And that kills immersion and people's interest.

New Han Solo movie info.

The reporter told fans that Iger said the “Han Solo movie will follow him from age 18 through 24 and show him finding the Falcon, meeting Chewbacca, and getting his name.”

For fans, the tidbit about the Millennium Falcon was one they’ve known for awhile. Han Solo wins the iconic spacecraft when he wins a card game against Lando Calrissian, so fans will get to see Glover part ways with the so-called ‘hunk of junk’ very soon.

In addition to the illegal drugs, Fisher was also taking Prozac, Abilify and Lamictal under prescription. She was also taking oxycodone without a prescription.

As a recovering alcoholic I was both saddened and a little irked that she was making money on books about it in a past tense.
