Rogue One - Star Wars

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Vader is going to be a bad ass in it.

Also, Grand Admiral Thrawn is going to be showing up on one of the Star Wars cartoons, which means he'll be canon...

I didn't see a single Bothan anywhere in that trailer. With the story they are telling, it should have been wall-to-wall with dead Bothans.

Ah. Well at least we can rest easy, knowing her mission was a success.

Here's some more footage. The cinematography is looking off the charts, almost liek a sweeping war drama that also happens to be Star Wars.

If this movie is as Lawrence of Arabia as it looks, it could change the tone of everything Star Wars that hasn't been made yet.

Lucas liked it.

Honestly, I'm not sure that's a good sign.

Five years ago I would have agreed, but I suspect Lucas has hit that level of dementia where shiny objects are fascinating and his opinion of movies is no longer based in bitter regret about his own shortcomings.
