As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Fair point, but his career is going better than Spielberg's right now.

I think he's going to try and be the black Oprah.

Maybe Sandler's just playing a different game.

As observed elsewhere: When you make the movie, you pick your own co-stars.

Does anyone here subscribe to Netflix and use few enough screens that they would share a subscription? Or, only use 2, and would be open to upgrading from Standard to Premium?

In a few months when I'm rearranging my life I'd be willing to look at upgrading. As of now, between me and the kid we're frequently using two screens.

If you upgrade, I'll pay half.

I noticed they took Archer off Netflix. I think it's to make you watch Pacific Heat. I miss Archer.

They have slowly lost rights to a lot of different shows. If you dig a bit deeper you can see they're all associated with certain channels/networks/parent corporations.

I'm sure Netflix investing so much money into original content is a huge part of that, but so is those aforementioned entities trying their own streaming services or selling the rights for more money to other services like Hulu where Archer still exists.

Which is insane.

Disney has a whole lot of property bringing in (hundreds of?) millions a day. Netflix has a shitload of server racks, and probably a 10-story HQ, somewhere.

Yeah, but Netflix is generating their own content, and growing, whereas Disney is just holding still. Disney does still make about 5x the $$ in profit that Netflix does.

Also, Netflix has probably never been responsible for a toddler being eaten by an alligator.

They also didn't spend billions on Star Wars only to piss off the fan base and insult anyone who dared criticize them.

Heyo.

Then again, no one dies and wants their ashes scattered on Netflix servers.
