This is a movie about an FBI agent who works with some agents on shady drug stuff.
Benicio Del Toro is pretty good.
The plot is decent.
The directing and music keep going for TENSE and DRAMATIC. With several scenes seemingly thrown in to BUILD SUSPENSE, and nothing else. Literally nothing.
A bit of social commentary about the drug wars. Told in at least an interesting way, through the life of one character, instead of through some kind of soliloquy about the DEA or CIA.
Pretty good, needed a bit more action.
