I can believe it, my fake memories of that movie are pretty crazy.

And I am also associating a bunch of lines from that movie with Duke Nukem 3D, and that's just insane.

All caught up, I am enjoying the show, but....

Is that chick detective a HORRIBLE actor, or a great actor and her character is just hitting my ear wrong? Because she seems really horrible and was cast because she has a big rack.

She hasn't had as much screentime as the others. Waiting for her and Xena to get their shots.

She has had more than enough BUT MY PARTNERRRRRR moments for me to think she blew someone... a lot.... to get her part. Possibly even anal.

I saw that coming from scene one. I kept hoping she would be the one to get knocked off but I knew there was no chance of that. So far, her character simply sucks. Her first sequence was bland, though, and that is entirely on her.

Consider this a spoiler thread from here on out.

Yeah so she comes out of the back room of the book store, and Ash is there facing down a Cenobite, and everyone tells her to stand down before she fucks everything up, so she takes a warning shot at Ash's head? I blame that on the writers, but still. WTF.

She's locked behind in the book store with the deadite owner. I fully expect Xena to show up in the first five minutes of the next episode and save her. Those two will then become a couple of soft, secondary antagonists until the end of season 1. Wonder where the fuck she got the dagger from.

Ep five is done and the season is halfway through. So far I like it, but the last ep felt like the weakest so far. Looks like everyone except the main cast members do a good job of dying promptly.

Right before Xena gets dragged in the fire, the deadite calls her a double-crosser. Would explain a lot if she were more infernal than she lets on. The cop joined up with Ash after that. I thought those two would Thelma and Louise together a bit longer.

The thing with her and Ash feels quite forced. Xena's also back, which was a slam dunk, and she's clearly not human.

First season is done, ten eps. The ending was awesome, and then did very WTF 180 that felt like a badly forced segue to next season.

Season two kicks off ... pretty much right in the middle of where season 1 started? Wtf?

1) Ruby loses control of those things?

2) Why'd she ever let Ash keep the only weapon which can permanently kill them?

3) The only way she can contact him is by sending some deadites to attack?

4) Lee fucking Majors.
