As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

New monster movie featuring Anne Hathaway.

Toho is suing them for stealing Godzilla, and based on the article Toho seems to have a legit gripe.

The rightsholders of the Godzilla franchise, the Japanese company Toho, have sued Voltage Pictures over the film Colossal, which stars Anne Hathaway playing a woman who realizes her mind is strangely connected to a giant lizard destroying Tokyo. It’s described as Godzilla meets Being John Malkovich.

That's what I want. A cerebral Godzilla movie.

Yay Hulu!

Anne Hathaway is a woman with a drinking problem. This leads to her life crumbling and her moving home where childhood friend, Jason Sudeikis, tries to help her out. Meanwhile, there's a monster terrorizing Seoul. Anne eventually realizes her life and the monster are linked.

This is not a happy feel good movie nor would I classify it as a giant monster movie. It gets very dark as the truth is unveiled.

I see that this film was advertised as possibly a comedy? That is not the case at all. There are no chuckles. Just good acting and a weird premise.

It's worth seeing once, but go in knowing you're seeing a dramatic character piece, not a monster movie or comedy.
