Talked my way into the VIP section, so I spent the concert 30 feet away and 10 feet up from the stage with my very own coctail waitress to keep me from getting thirsty. No one in front of me. Best concert seating evar.
And outstanding show, to boot. The first hour was "hits through the years," and after an intermission the 2nd hour was Operation: Mindcrime played in its entirety. Lots of theatrics throughout. Props and such. Actors. The original chick who sang the "Mary" parts on the album was there singing her parts.
They even added a couple tunes that are in next year's Operation: Mindcrime II. I hope they can do justice to the original.
Ok, so does anyone want to know what happened to Mary?

Nikki has his little should I/shouldn't I kill her episode. (Suite Sister Mary)
Right after this, Mary is in Nikki's room looking for him. There's a new tune playing during this. Nikki's phone rings... Mary picks it up... the voice on the phone says "Mindcrime."
Mary says to Dr X on the phone, "Where's Nikki? What did you do to him?"
Dr. X asks Mary if she sees the box near the phone. She says yes.
Dr. X tells Mary to open the box. Mary opens it.
Dr. X tells Mary to take the gun out of the box. She does.
Dr. X tells Mary to put the gun in her mouth. She shakes her head and says, "No, I won't" But she does it.
Dr. X tells her to pull the trigger. Her eyes get big and you hear her mouthing "NO" around the gun barrel....
But then her brains are all over the wall.
