Anneke van Giersbergen, one of my fave female metal vocal artists, who fronted the group The Gathering for many years before doing accompanying vocals with Devin Townsend, just released a new album with a new band.
This is it.
It's a bunch of songs dedicated to different cities, and how they interpreted those places, musically.
It's pretty good. She's one of my faves because she has a sweet voice, "sweet" in the classic meaning. I've had it on repeat for a couple days, now.
