Didn't mind the DLC. Seemed kind of ho-hum, smaller than I'd like. The Hammerlock DLC feels different. The baddies there are a step up from TORGUE, Pirate, and the main quest. Fuck those witch doctors.

i would agree and say that the Pirate DLC is my least favorite, but for the most part i enjoy playing any of the DLC's over the normal story line. But thats prolly because i get bored of the same story missions over and over again.

I was in the same situation as Leisher about a month or so ago. I got bored of the game because all i did was play solo and got to a few parts that were just to hard solo or just annoying. I decided to jump into someone elses game just for a change of pace and i was instantly drawn in again. Playing co-op is really what this game is about, solo play just seems to lose some of its fun after a while.

So Leisher.. next time you get on lemme know, or if you see me on jump into game. We can get you back to enjoying it again.

And anyone that wants to jump into game with me is more than welcome too. My Steam profile name is MadMordigan. Malcom i believe you are EchoVerbatim if i recall correctly. And Catt, i don't believe we are friends on Steam but if you wanna play just lemme know.

I'll prolly be on for a bit tonight, but i was planning on playing some LOL too if some of the guys were on.

It is just so not my style or desire to jump into games with strangers. Honestly, fuck them. Especially, in this type of game. Not my thing. Never will be my thing.

Playing with friends is different. I WANT to play BL2 with you guys, BUT I'm in a mind frame about it right now where I don't want to get into a game with you all because I'm worried I'll end up wanting to quit out, and won't be able to...

Got to give me time to get my bearings in terms of missions, sort my inventory, etc. then I'll be ready to head back into some multi. I'll make it a goal to get my inventory done this weekend.

don't worry about inventory shit cause all of that will be worthless gear in 5 levels anyways. What level are you at anyways?

And i'd say don't worry about quitting.. i look at B2 as one of those great games that you can come and go as you please. Play it 15 mins while waiting for other people to get on, or play it all night and try and farm shit.

Weapons are indeed shit worthless -5L from your enemies, so until you cap out, don't worry. There's usually a way to get a better gun. I'd say "always" but fuck you TORGUE DLC and your fucked up "no gun stores take anything but TORGUE tokens" policy.

BL is the new Gauntlet. Going through the story quests with random people just sucks. It feels like MMO farming. If they had some PvP going on (which they totally fucking could), it'd be a different story. Unlike Gauntlet, you now have to worry about everyone matching up, in terms of player enemy, loot, and gear levels, story progress, etc. Then there's balancing your party loadout on top of all that shit for skills, weapons, shields, elemental shyte.

If you really wanted to make life interesting and have customized quest experiences, you'd let a player take on the role of an active director (like in in L4D) and have him deal with all that shit.

As a reminder, the last DLC for season pass holders, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, drops tomorrow. Have yet to multi any DLC content, so if y'all can put down the crackpipe that is LoL...

There are a number of things you could say about Borderlands 2′s Assault on Dragon Keep DLC, but thanks to this launch trailer we can instead focus on the most important: it contains a gun that fires swords. Swords that impale your enemies and then explode.

So far i'm loving the new DLC. The D&D theme, music, and just anything goes cause its all in Tiny Tina's made up world is just fantastic.. But i caught a line that Axton said at one part aaaaaaaannnndd, i think he's gay...

Tiny Tina: "With the Sorcerer's tower in sight, you think of what you're going to spend your reward money on once you rescue the queen."

Axton: "Guns and ladies. And sometimes dudes."

I downloaded the DLC thinking I might play this weekend on the part of my trip when I'm not with my kids/wife... and forgot to pack a mouse. sad.

In short, sounds sandboxy:

1) new DLC for $5 consisting of high-level enemies, loot, encounters, areas, no plot though ... involves Patricia Tannis
2) Headhunter DLC -- access to new bosses & loot ... sounds episodic ... first one is TK Baha's Bloody Harvest ... more to come, sounds like
3) higher level cap
4) extra backpack, ammo, bank expansions

I need to get a desk and chair setup so my laptop if FPS-ready again. But, seeing as how everyone's hitting that LoL crackpipe...
