I just cleaned up my Steam friend list, removing anyone whose name I didn't recognize, or hadn't talked to in more than a year. I don't think that includes any of you reading this, but in case it does, my bad.

I've not been on in a long time, but the spine's slowly strengthening so I can sit at my home keyboard for more than an hour or so.

The Autumn sale has begun.

Something new this time, The Steam Awards. Pretty cool.

I nominated Half-Life 2: Episode 2 for The "Give Us The Sequel Already" Award. (You get to create your own category for the final award.)

I need games to list for:
Whoa dude
Villian in need of hug
Game within Game
Best use of farm animal
Didnt think of everything

Cuz I'd rather not just list random games.

I went with:
Test of time - HL2
I'm not Crying - Firewatch
5 More Minutes - Rust
Whoa Dude - Bastion
Villain in Need of a hug - Borderlands 2
Game Within Game - GTA V
Farm Animal - Deathspank (I can't remember the game where you used sheep as platforms or I would have voted that.)
And the I created "Give Us The Sequel Already" for HL2:Ep2

Looks like you can vote once per day for an award, and get a card.

No, you've been assured their data is redundantly stored so you won't lose your games if they ever go out of biz or have to deal with the apocalypse.

Exactly. Not sure why he can't accept that distinction.

And hey look, Steam's down yet I'm still playing my Steam purchased games. Sorcery!

Just tried to launch it a second ago and it looks like the service is back up, but the store isn't yet.

Part of me wants to buy games cuz they are on sale.

The other part of me knows I have no time.

The part of me that wants to buy games is going to win. I don't even try to pretend anymore. However, I'm going to ask myself, "But will it be cheaper in 6 months when you finally have time to play it?"

That being said, Dead by Daylight looks like a ton of fun for any multi-nights we want to have this winter. And could be a nice outlet for Gordon to kill us all.

Recent reviews mention a fair # of bugs + glitches + balance issues. Lacks a good 4pack. But, I could be tempted.
