I'm not entirely sure what Lagme usually plays. I don't lane with him much most games. I think he does that vampire guy a lot, maybe? Some other characters that take some finesse, probably. I don't know, I'm more the me-hit-hard or me-hit-fast type, so those champs he plays aren't really in my mental roster.
Mumble is an awesome chat client. But it does need a server to run on.
Yi is okay, but I die even more with him. So squishy! But I'll take him out of storage and mess around with him some more.
Oh, and even after leaving Steam chat Noid's LoL was still giving him fits. I think it's just time for a new computer for him. I was helping him hunt down good deals earlier in the evening before everyone got on, so he'll be back an a week or two with more reliability.

I don't want him to feel like he has to play support. To be honest, I'd rather have a tank or another gun on the team than support. Usually when Scooty is our fifth, and it's not some random Hitler, he's the other AD. One thing that hurt us in that SR was that we didn't do enough damage.

Just test him in a solo custom game or two, and see if you get what I'm talking about with his power. I think Scooty builds him AP, but AD is very legit on him too. I'd say boots, IE, Ghostblade, 2x Phantom Dancers, and a Bloodthirster(?). Remember to activate that Ghostblade when you're hitting a turret and see what happens.

That's the problem. I really can't. I've even had someone on my team tasked to remind me over and over to use it, and even then I never got it into my thick head that I should use it.
Sometimes I do good just to remember I have QWER skills.

Stick the Ghost blade in the first item slot, then just do your best to remember to hit #1 once you start attacking a turret.
Just focus on that one single thing, and see how well you do.
I have a similar issue, as I constantly forget to use potions after I'm done jungling. However, I discovered that if I stick that item into slot 1, I'm more likely to remember to activate it. That's why I put Wriggle's Lantern there.

Can you change the slot items are in? I though it was just based entirely on build order.
Not that it'll help. Although if I get a gaming keyboard with built in macro abilities, I could tie slot numbers in with QWER buttons so they just happen anyway. That would be better than nothing, I guess.

Yeah, you can move them around with a standard "click-drag-release". But not in the shop window.

Bought Darius tonight and started playing with him. Got beat my first bot game. Second bot game, I got beat too. But, I was trying to practice rapid firing the ult. So, I let them push all the way into my base because that was the only way to get them all together. I had everything pushed back to their base, but didn't take out the inhibitors.
Turns out, with two blood thirsters and a phantom blade, you don't even need your ult. I was three hitting many champs and 5 hitting others. Didn't even have a chance to use the ult as they would die so fast.
At the end, I dumped the frozen mallet, because no one ever had a chance to run for me to slow them down. Picked up lichbane for the ability power and speed boost. I took the ability power to see what the AP stacked on top of my passive would look like. Unfortunetly, while I was shopping and figuring things out, they made a 5 man push on my nexus and it died. So, didn't get a chance to see what it would do. But my passive does 12 + ap points of damage over 5 seconds with up to 5 stacks. So 5x80ap would be 400 points over 5 seconds. But then again, they would never last 5 seconds. . .
Still need to practice quite a bit with him. But damn does he hit hard.

Just played a PvAI game, I said in the beginning i wanted to practice Swain in the jungle. Asked for a leash at blue, got it. From the beginning when 2 of them tried to steal blue from me, and they kept the jungle fairly cleared before i could get to anything, I realized that there isn't anyone playing this game that isn't an asshole.

Has anyone ever done the math on taking masteries and runes that give gold? What would happen if someone at bot (it's got to be someone who can hide, but get last hits) went with every gold perk possible? Do you think the speed in which this person could get upgraded items could help them dominate the early game of a match? Perhaps get enough kills and destroy enough turrets to put the match out of reach before the enemy gets a chance to gain any momentum?
Combine the above with one or two money items as well...
Gordo mentioned a Singed that seemed to get his items a bit too quick. Is it possible that he went the money route with his runes and masteries?
Two champ suggestions:
Gordo - I was thinking about the play style comment regarding the differences between Singed and Nasus, and I think you should give Volibear a peek when he's free.
He's a tank, has a passive that heals him, has a fear, a flip, and gains movement speed when chasing enemies (or slows them down).
It seems like he's closer to a match for Singed than Nasus.
Stranger - I was thinking you should give Gragas a peek. He's a damage dealing top solo/jungler with ranged attacks, plus aoe attacks, which would be great for team fights.
Combine the above with one or two money items as well...

I don't think the items/masteries are going to be a flood of gold allowing you to buy a blood thirster at level 4 or anything. I think Stranger is heavy gold rune/masteried to make up for not taking last hits. Even if you did, I still don't think it would amount to all that much. Maybe a medium item by end game or something.
Yeah, I think I'm going to start toying with the gold flow a bit. I won't go overboard, but I need to get more gold faster.

Seems to cost 825... I think (I don't know how to read that LOL item page). Gives 200 health, and an extra 5 gold every 10 seconds.
That's 30 gold per minute.
Typical SR game is 50 minutes.... so that is an extra
300 gold in 10 minutes.
600 gold in 20 minutes.
900 gold in a half hour... some SR games last as little as this.
1200 gold at 40 minutes
1500 gold at 50 minutes
I am thinking it will knock 7ish minutes off your "full build" achievement.
For that 825 (I think) cost, Singed could have instead bought that Blasting Wand that gives +40AP, and builds into 4 of the items I typically buy. I would be getting gold generation instead of damage dealing, and would still have to buy the damage dealing, later.
