By a lot of accounts, this could be the game of E3 2013.

Uses Wither 2 save game files.

Wait, the "Witcher" is a real game of some sort?

I thought it was a joke game that Penny Arcade made up to make fun of something else.

Shit. I forgot to search to see if there was already a Witcher 3 thread.

And yes, The Witcher is a kick ass RPG series. The original was quite controversial due to nudity.

Huh. Guess I should check that out, then.

EDIT: "You already own The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut" ..... I do? Man, my gaming backlog is so bad I have games I haven't played that I didn't think really existed.

It is amazing to me how all of a sudden games are not outstripping PC performance every 18 months. I've had that recommended system for years already.

I remember when I got a cutting edge $3.3k Gateway P2 333 and 6 months later the original Unreal came out and kicked that PC's ass.

I built my system for a bit over $2K last year. It's got this and then some, but it's knocking on the door of my CPU ceiling. 4770-K is clocked at 3.5.

Perma-death discussion.
CD Projekt Red developers said they couldn't reveal too much about the Insanity mode, since it's still in development, but did confirm that one idea being tossed around is that dying even once would wipe your entire game save.
