Yay Steam!

You play as War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. He has been summoned by the 7th seal being broken, but when he arrives, he finds that is not the case. His duty to be the balance between the forces of hell, heaven, and man is void. Instead he is tasked by the Council to discover what has happened. (The Council is like a violent mediator.)

Stripped of his powers, he is sent to Earth to solve the mystery.

Fun game. A bit dated as there are three of them now. Still, combat is satisfying, graphics are good enough, and the story is good. The voice acting is really good. The ending is EXACTLY what you want too.

It's an action game and the view is third person, but over your head, not shoulder. The camera can be a slight issue at times, but mostly it's fine.

Lots of RPG elements to building your strength back. Lots of puzzles as well, although none are too hard. The most difficult part is skipping a lot of them simply because you missed them.

That leads to my only real complaint, which is returning to areas. I get it. It's a way to stretch out the length of the game without adding a lot to the budget. Areas aren't really massive, so it's no big deal, but they can be annoying to navigate a second time.

Good, fun game with a good story.
