Keep in mind that the game actually started on July 27th, 2016. At that point, they expected a massive land rush and all of the prime spots will be taken.
I have to assume 1.5 years later, there's no land left. The core players have a 1.5 year head start. And I bet there's no open PvP. I assume it's going to suck.
