Has she started the "I think I should get an apartment in the city to avoid these dangerous late night commutes" discussion?

We already have one of those. We don't have the base house.

I think holding off until after new year might be best. Got family surprising us and visiting. So I will be unavailable tonight. Sorry, and happy Christmas to all. :)

Fine with me.

From the other campaign I see updates on. They finished last weekend.
Wow. After nearly two years we actually finished the campaign. This is the first D&D campaign I have seen through from beginning to end as a player and I really enjoyed it.

How is everyone looking this Friday? Do I need to refresh myself with the underwater rules ASAP?

I'm good.

I have been researching hypothermia and water survival. How cold is the water? If we've been wearing wool, it would help us a lot.

Perhaps we can find some underwater Tauntauns. A geothermal geyser. We can all take turns peeing.

I'll try to do a good recap on Friday. But in short: Vallaki got hit by Strahd and a local cult, the party didn't exactly help by killing the town guard and burning the mayor's house down, but they did manage to save Ireena. Zelda got to use some of her water druid spells and saved everyone from imminent blood loss by letting them breathe underwater and the party fled into the lake. We left it with the party spending the night underwater.

I... didn't expect that encounter to go that way. Giant evil lurking monster, piles of treasure, evil water hag.

And the party skipped it by fucking the fish lady and rushed to the deadly trap capital of COS! D&D is wild sometimes.

Fun session. Glad Gordon survived. RIP that wagon - I'll scatter it's loot all over Barovia
