Want to play Dungeons and Dragons 5E?

BTW, Koban was intentionally ensuring those winery folks still had money. Totally in character and alignment. He does what he feels is correct, and that felt right to him. He's not bankrupting a widower with kids to support, and a winery with three broken vats resulting in lost inventory.

I only left the balcony because the DM told us all to leave the balcony to head upstairs to the dining room. Koban would have ensured nobody sabotage his plans for the winery to not be robbed blind. Point being, when Mordigan thought the coast was clear, it wasn't his character piece simply hadn't been moved by the DM yet. Thus, he wasn't responding to hearing what another player wanted to do in a different room. Just wanted to clear that up.

Plus, if you think Koban is going to let Mordigan continue blindly stealing after the "incident" you're nuts. Last time he did nothing he aged 15 years. That's not something he's forgotten despite saving Mordigan's life.

I'm enjoying their frienemies dynamic.

Lootwise I had:
6 scrolls, 2 ID'd
15 Platinum (secret)
6 "wild people" worth of amber shards and rough gems.

First death:

He'll be there as Mordigan or some newly rolled character...I assume.

When the phrase “get your head in the game” has literal meaning.

It's tough to get ahead in Barovia.

Next session is a fairly open ended "choose your own adventure" type morning. I'll have a new level 5 random encounter table by then. Remember to make all your Level 5 choices too.

After Watching a WOTC DM: Remember you can do ingame INT checks on old plot hooks or events to jog your memory if you need to.

Game tonight. Usual time. Make your level 5 choices, I think there were some power jumps, so maybe a good session to go around and find out what new toys everyone has to play with. Maybe require ya'll to describe it in-character :)

Obviously some outstanding issues. We'll pick-up addressing those.

Y’all jumped big time in power at level 5. I thought that initial fight would at least be challenging.

Good to know the gloves can come off :P

Hey all sorry for the late post. Phone died in the parks and we are just getting back from closing the Animal Kingdom Park. Good news I’ll be back in full game mode next Friday, same bat time same bat channel. Troy, I’ll take a look at the level 5 stuff and I can let you know what upgrades I decide on soon. :)
