Hah! Nice. Better than my cumulative $0.

I won $5 on Gravy shopping though. And have made about $100 reselling items I bought there.
I've made $100 reselling (nothing new since last post), but am now up to $40 of prizes in addition.

Craigslist? I dunno.

We should start a company to help people sell stuff on ebay.

I dunno, I hear it's pretty hard for a company to actually make $ in that market.

Last time I tried to sell something on ebay, they nickle and dime you with fees and you can't make what you think the item is worth.

That, plus shipping costs... seems like you aren't going to get what it's worth unless you sell to a sucker.

I just use it for stuff that I can't bear to just throw away, like a kid's wetsuit worn only 10 times. That sort of thing. I'm lucky to get $25 for it, after fees and shipping. Worth 50, easily.

Oh right, shipping. Usually about $10 for the stuff I resell.

But the stuff I've been buying, I only buy if I think I can make $40 to $50 per item, taking into account all those fees already

So... I've been getting these items and selling them on eBay, or keeping them.

Today it occurred to me: Several of these items have been gifts bought via Amazon. Since Amazon thinks they are gifts, I can return them without the buyer knowing.

I just made $70 on something that I probably would have made $30 on via eBay.

Wish it had occurred to me a little earlier though.

Won another $80, so up to $190 on prizes, plus the resell stuff. Also, if I can return this item to Amazon, I'll net $100 of credit.

Won $100 tonight. So up to $330 on prizes. Plus another $200 of Amazon net credit, plus $110 for reselling. So, $640 total. Not bad.
