Food preservation.

Post by GORDON »

I just canned some bread & butter pickles that I grew in my garden. Whats up. Second small batch of the year, this makes 6 full quarts.

It's cool because I can make 2 quick quarts in like 30 minutes. It's basically canning summer sunshine to enjoy in the cold months. Nurtures your body and your soul.

Good thinking, it's cold north of the Wall, and winter is coming.

Just finished canning salsa. A couple garden onions, 4 garden chili peppers, 1 hot cayanne peppers, one garden banana pepper, add garden tomatoes until the blend looks correct.

My fingers are burning.
