Yes, but that (wo)man is Canadian. Currently, in the US, gender identity is not a protected class. However, some courts have interpreted the rule against sex discrimination as including gender discrimination and sexual orientation. SCOTUS has agreed to take up a semi-relevant case, so we'll see.

At some point these victim classes will collide. I suspect when over 50% of record holders for female sporting events are held by biological men, then the the feminists will bail. Or when a good chunk of athletic scholarships are lost to real women. At least the rank and file feminists will bail.
