Honestly, that was my first reaction. My wife brought this article to my attention, saying, if someone did what the teens did, what would I do?

At any rate, one of the moms has been trying to do a tour (People, magazine, etc) to get sympathy, and I have little. Her kids shouldn't have died, but since they're white and went to church, they "Were good kids"

When I first moved into this house, people directly across the street had a truck out front with a car alarm that would go off at least twice a night, for no reason. My bedroom at the time faced the street, I literally couldn't get any closer.

Their bedrooms must have been at the back of the house, the alarm would go off for 60 seconds and shut itself off, every time. Banging on their door did nothing.

I was putting together an untraceable molotov cocktail device to burn that fucking truck on the street, before they got rid of it with just days to spare.

(No, our small town doesn't have police. Closest law enforcement was the county sheriffs 40 miles away, and at that time they didn't have any local patrols.)

My point being... if their little game was a targeted, frequent thing, lack of sleep can drive anyone over the edge. I'm sure it wasn't his intent to kill anyone, merely scare them. I bet they were scared, at the end.
