3 7th graders use bananas to induce allergic reaction in their art teacher

"That could be attempted murder," a Columbus City Schools (CCS) security officer is heard telling Columbus Police officers in a body camera video. The call about the attack came from Starling K-8 school last November. On the video, the security officer is seen escorting police to the art teacher's door where signs stating "Banana Free Zone" are posted. Another sign instructs students to wash their hands if they've eaten a banana that day.

"All of the kids know she's deathly allergic to bananas," the security officer told the police. "If it touches her, she will go into anaphylactic shock."

During lunch, the security staffer said three seventh-graders smeared banana on the teacher's door, doorknob, and threw them at her while she was inside her classroom. She went into anaphylactic shock within 15 minutes.

"She starts to change colors," said the security staffer. "They gave her one epipen; It wasn't working. They gave her another epipen (and) her throat was starting to close up."

Columbus Police say felonious assaults on teachers have increased in 2019 with more than 30 cases since January. In 2017, officers responded to 65 felonious assaults on city school campuses, which was nearly triple the number from the year before. The teacher's union, Columbus Education Association, has yet to reach a new contract with Columbus City Schools administration. Teachers say they are fighting for better working conditions and alternative plans to discipline or wrap-around services for troubled kids.

My wife complains a bit about the uppitness of where we live (For example, people taking an uber to school instead of the bus, or, not lying - using ubereats to get food delivered to their school for lunch), but I'd rather deal with that bullshit than violent kids.

This is where our cultural changes have been leading us.

You've seen the comic where the parents are holding up the report card and screaming at their kid (1950s) then in the next panel screaming at the teacher (now). You've seen the news reports about people throwing water and then the bucket at cops making an arrest. You've got hoardes of people talking about "not my president" both with Trump and Obama previously. You've seen POTUS throwing a tantrum on Twitter.

This is what happens when you govern to the lowest common denominator. When you constantly tell people that their brains, physicality, and effort aren't the problem, but rather it's [insert group or organization here] that's actually keeping them down. When you celebrate the worst of us (like the Kardashians or Justin Bieber), while completely ignoring the best (scientists, teachers, etc.).

This is our "You'd better show me respect if you want respect" culture. Where we don't punish kids for misbehaving and instead try to be their best friends. Where spanking is the greatest sin a parent can commit as opposed to raising an entitled monster with no concern about consequences.

If our country had any true leaders at all, they'd be standing up and pointing the finger at the citizens as THE biggest problem the country faces.

Typically when searching for a unicorn, you either have to be a verified couple, or the unicorn. No dudes signing up by themselves. Most swapping parties work the same way.

From what he says, that's fairly true. However, from all the videos I've seen on YouPorn I've don't believe I've ever seen a swinger (amateur, pros don't count) that I thought was attractive. They have to exist, of course. I just think they're the fabled unicorn.

The place we looked at requires pictures for vetting prior to entry/membership. So ostensibly, some level of attractiveness.

Back to morons... a young white male, appearing to be in his twenties, pulled up to the Walmart, where he donned body armor and military fatigues. Police say the man had tactical weapons.

Police then say the man walked into the Walmart: Neighborhood Market where he grabbed a cart and began pushing it around the store. Police say the man was recording himself walking through the store via a cell phone.

Yeah, this wasn't a shooting. This was a cry for attention or a right wing dipshit making some point like "just because a guy wears body armor and has guns..."
