I'm all for doing my part to help out, but I'm getting sick and tired of people pretending we're THE problem.

I'm also tired of the issue being politicized and used to attack anyone who might question what we're doing.

Just removing 20% of commuting traffic every week would be pretty big.

Not game-changing-big, but big.

Wouldn't it also be reasonable to assume it could decrease unemployment? Companies could still be 24/7/365 operations, but they'd probably need to hire a few folks to offset that additional day off.

Seriously though, why not 4 10 hour days? I believe we posted a study on it at one point that proved it would increase productivity.

I've always felt this way. But there a surprising # of people I talk to who are CONVINCED they work 40 to 50 hours a week. Maybe I'm just super productive.

It's 30. One of the liberal workers unite type webazines is getting blasted today for looking to hire a part time editor for 29.5 hrs per week.

I have always said anyone who claims they are ALWAYS ridiculously busy and don't have a minute for something else is full of shit.

We have one person here who's notorious for claiming that. They're also notorious for standing around talking a lot.
