Seen on twitter in reaction to favorable opinions to speech last night:

"That's it, I'm forming a separatist feminist state, who else is in"

Who makes the sandwiches in this utopia?

If you can see that, not sure what that person's settings are.

She liked my reply. I don't think she understood it?

Maybe I should explain it to her.

Marijuana contains alien dna or some bullshit.

This was shared on FB by folks I know. One commented "Ha! Aliens are responsible!"

Now click the article and read it. NOW it's funny.

Peeps on my feed I haven't blocked yet talking about how depressed they still are and how it is good to know they aren't the only ones.

I want to ask them what color ribbon means I support mental illness awareness and see if they get my intention.

If the roles were reversed you'd be getting told to stop acting like a spoiled child not getting his way or accept the results and work with "her" because that's best for the country.

If you are a man explaining something, you are "mansplaining." If you are a woman explaining something, you are...

I am turning a phrase that I want to post on FB, but it still feels a little clunky. Help me smooth it out.

Good friends can see the point of view of those around them.
What happens when you surround yourself with negative, shitty people?

The current administration? Hah.

But seriously, the answer depends on the individual. Some cave, some resist, some adapt. Good friends humour you. Shitty people rarely have a proper sense of humour.

A friend of mine posted the "only 35% of Americans can find North Korea on a map" article. One of HER friends said:
"This is how we end up with Trump as President"

My reply: Republicans were better at it than Democrats. And men WAY better than women; maybe repeal the 19th?

In my experience, most women are legit horrible at map reading by default. I think it's caused by two factors:

1) they don't get training in how to read maps as kids
2) spatial awareness and spatial intelligence is one of the "legit" gender differences that women are worse at naturally

I remember taking my wife on a hike early on in our relationship. Gave her the map - and discovered she'd never really had to read one! As a college senior. She was confusing roads for rivers, trails for boundaries.

It's fixable with time and exposure though. She's a solid navigator now, and we've had a few sketchy travel experiences to test her capabilities.

So I unlocked the Gay Pride reaction on FB.

A friend of mine posted last night that he was watching the Tony awards, so I did the Gay Pride reaction. Seemed appropriate, yes?

I've seen it being used as an insult and nothing else so far.
