Well, not to discount your theories about weed, but cops in Cali have been pretty supportive of legalized weed. Weed there has been legal for years, so we're past short term violence.
So this is gang or hard drug violence.
Based upon the victims' names I'd say they're all Hispanic males. California leads the charge in allowing illegals safe passage, homes, freebies, and apparently committing crimes without consequence.
Thus, I'd say that's what he's referring to...
Point being, that guy probably wants illegals gone and figures there will then be less gang violence.
