In the initiative’s introductory passage, Draper argues that “vast parts of California are poorly served by a representative government dominated by a large number of elected representatives from a small part of our state, both geographically and economically.”
Someone should invent a way to protect rural citizens from a situation like this...
“Every record been destroyed or falsified, books rewritten, pictures repainted, statues, street building renamed, every date altered. The process is continuing day by day. History stops. Nothing exists except endless present in which the Party is right.”

Inconveniencing people with no tangible effect on the environment is a result, but one that doesn't actually fix anything, it just makes people feel good so they feel like they don't need to do anything effective, which actually hurts the cause, overall.

This is closer to the truth than "banning straws saves the environment".

Hart family deaths get crazier.

Who the fuck hangs frames with the stock photos on their walls? Who raises kids without toys or entertainment for them? Who starves their kids and makes them eat from garbage cans?

Authorities soon learned the adopted children had repeatedly accused their parents of abuse, according to reports from neighbors and a social worker.
I'm having a hard time believing that these claims against the biological hetero couple would not have been investigated more thoroughly.

One hopes it was merely government incompetence, not fear of.being labelled homophobic.

Those dead.kids wouldn't have wanted to be poster children for homophobia.

Well, it's not imploding yet.
Of the nation’s 50 largest metros, five of the 10 with the biggest income gains are located in California, where a diverse economy has been adding jobs across industries including construction, tourism and technology.

Takes a while to destroy a large economy that also has nice weather and the allure of fame and fortune.

Although that brief statement sure does leave a lot of details out of the picture it paints.

All the economic refugees fleeing for other states need to know about how wrong they are.

Or maybe they're trying to get away from the literal piles of human shit in San Fran.

I want to add that it does take a while, but the Dems are working hard to do it as quickly as possible.

That's Forbes saying California is unsustainable.
