Our education system only teaches for tests instead of nurturing intelligence and curiosity. Colleges are more about making money than furthering education. Anti-vaxers exist and are a growing movement. People in 2019 still think the Earth is flat. Others think we've never been to the moon. NASA just announced we're going to the moon permanently in the next 5 years, yet nobody reports it because Kim and Kayne just had another baby. The number of people who think socialism works is on the rise. Politics are being steered by emotions over logic. Our government rewards the lowest common denominators for having as many kids as they can. There are people who think The Last Jedi was a good movie. Our last several presidents were an actor, a war hero who only got one term, a sex addict, a draft dodger, a liar with zero experience, and now a reality TV star. Gary Hart dropped out of the race in...88? and ever since both parties have staunchly defended guys cheating on their wives.
Of course we're getting dumber.

I was thinking about how we keep encouraging the lowest-achieving demographic of humans to procreate more, with literally no end in sight where we can say,"You know, maybe that's enough."
