This comes on the heels of a Russian announcement that they are going to verify the moon landings from the 50s/60s. Coincidence? Is this now a race to plant evidence?

My understanding is that the flag we planted would now be completely bleached white by the sun with no atmosphere to offer any protection. So I picture Russia getting there and thinking the French had been there.

I've wondered the same thing. I think part of it is because it doesn't cast in Trump in good or bad light. So it isn't news to the US press. I suspect we're missing a lot of important world news these days.
