Short term, yes, But not over the course of a few weeks as it destroys your sleep pattern and recovery ability.

When you hurt yourself canning, I'm going to laugh. In other news, back at the gym today after a week. Couldn't take the sitting doing nothing. Did a 2/3rds workout. Lungs felt sore from coughing up shit the past few days.

Next place you scuba dive, I'm going to drop a crate full of these things right after you go under.

I've been coughing for 5 weeks. Two doctors asked if I've ever been diagnosed with asthma before. Just developed a sinus infection to boot.

Sounds like bullshit. Swim laps for a couple weeks and run that chlorine through your sinuses, you'll be fine.

I'm still coughing shit out of my lungs after two weeks. Antibiotic the fuck out of it.

Still working on loosening up the back muscles. Think I crossed another threshold recently because I'm encountering new types of soreness, particularly in the shoulder, hip, and neck regions. Feels like a slowly unfolding granite slab with which Hercules made an origami figure.

Parents, your children are too goddamned fat.
In the past 20 years, new cases of Type 2 diabetes in childhood have increased from less than 5 percent to more than 20 percent of all new diagnoses. What is causing this disturbing trend?
Stupid, shitty parents who shouldn't be allowed to breed.

Got permission to use both hands for basic things. No lifting whatsoever, and hand mus stay in front of my body. But at leastt I can type with both hands again. It's been a long 11 days with 1-hand typing.

Just 6 more months of PT to go!

You've probably logged more cumulatively over the course of your life.

I bumped up all the weights I was lifting within the last few weeks... I am putting some serious strain on my wrists, now. I feel it. I can easily wrist curl a 40 lb DB on my right wrist, but it is very painful if I do 40 on the left, all those small wrist bones hurt. Have to drop down to about 25. I think the "forearm splints" are a result of the heavier weight, and the fact I am 45 years old. I will just have to stay at this level for a while until the rest of the infrastructure catches up.

Back on the 2 meals of soylent for the past few days. Cardio output is up and feels like I finally snapped a couple lifting plateaus.
