You probably can't do it, so don't even try.

Diet....contest?

Post by TheCatt »

Needle keeps moving. I went to Hamilton + out to dinner last night, but kept my eating style.

This weekend is a road trip to DC to see the Redskins. Then Thanksgiving. Then I'm going to Vegas for a week. Then my youngest's birthday.

I see a lot of temptation in your future.

Yeah. I need life to pause for 2-3 months so I can get my weight under control, then tempt me.

WHen you see food, and you're actively avoiding the inner argument about whether or not to eat it, tell yourself, "Yeah but I don't want to be a fatass."

That's what I've been trying. Self abuse.

I try avoidance. If I'm not tempted, I don't have to say no.

The problem is when I mix drinking with resisting. That goes poorly.

Well, aside from eating fried chicken, and having.... a lot of drinks, I was decent about my diet. Strict on Saturday, then all that drinking on Sunday (but low carb stuff)... but so many of them.

Ended up 3 lbs, so we'll see what it looks like a couple days back on schedule.

Going to try OMAD this week in Vegas. I kinda did it yesterday, except for a small snack preflight.

Being 3 hours off on timezone may make this more difficult.

Dinner last night got pushed back to 715 PT. So I had some food a little after 5. 3 hour eating window.

So far today, no food. Dinner at 6. It hasn't been that hard, aside from being surrounded by free food. All food smells wonderful, but resist ing hasn't been hard

It's been years since I did a dietbet... for final weigh-in, do I get a link or something, so I know where to send my final weight/pictures? I'm not seeing it in the Games I'm entered in. My contests end in 17 hours, and I hit weight today.

Ok, after the game ends, one can do the final weigh-in. I tried doing it early so I could eat more last night. It was the diet talking.

But I lost 2 more pounds overnight, so I guess I'm crushing it. Might as well keep going and see how good I can look for the Georgia Aquarium at Christmas.

Right. I'm not the only one here playing yo-yo with their weight.

I just got divorced, and ate a lot for comfort. I'm going to forgive myself, this time. :-D

I just need to keep my shit together until I'm too old/broken to do active with my kid, and get him through school, and on with his life, and then I can let go and become a big fat large person. It's what my body wants to do.

Unless I find my unicorn. She'll keep me doing plenty of cardio because she's 20 years younger.

But then you’ll just be a burden to your grown son. That’s no good.

Only if my health declines to the point I can no longer answer the door for the pizza guy.

The other day my digital memory scale said my last weigh-in was 12 pounds.

I think my cat sat on it.
