Personal weight levels

I drive a lot while commuting now so I have a lot of time to let my mind wander.

So here's what I think of myself when I am at various weights, according to my personal body shape:

230+ - Fucking obese
220 - 229 - Big fat piece of shit.
210-219 - Fat
200-209 - Start tucking those shirts in
190-199 - Go ahead and wear the speedos you bought 9 months ago and haven't worn yet.
180 - Where I probably should be. Feels unattainable, but I'll keep it as a long term goal.

I have not been under 202 in over 10 years, but I plan on being there by christmas. I will have new insights about my fat ass then.

Fortunately for me I have kind of broad shoulders, so I can be moderately overweight and carry it well. But 40 aint no joke and I need to trim down now rather than in 10 years and I have heart disease and shit.

Was 215 after my mile this morning, so just "Fat.". I was wondering how much faster my lap time will be when I am not dragging 20 pounds of useless fat around through the water.

Woke up at 209.

Weight has a lot less to do with swimming well than running or biking well. But it still helps.

I was envisioning that it has to be like having a rope around my waist with a sea anchor.

The resistance comes from your body shape since your weight is borne by the water. So thinner helps some.
