I was referring to that article in the rona thread, about lasting damage. Methodology presented in that journalist's article was very stupid and bad. A bunch of millionaire athletes will be a better subject group because there are probably before/after medical scans. That other article only said, "a bunch of them went skiing recently." Nobel Prize is all wrapped up this year, boys.
But let's not derail.

I know what you meant, I'm just saying "those kids are much healthier than you and I" so their virus impact isn't necessarily our virus impact.

I'd put my 49-year-old cardiovascular health up against today's average 18-25 year old.
Those fuckers are lazy.
One hour in the pool, most laps wins. Go.

Hell, invade Canada and set aside a province, if that's what it takes.

All it takes is one death or one career ending condition...
THIS is the "lasting damage" study I want to see. All these professional athletes probably have "pre-covid" records stating they didn't have heart damage (or whatever) BEFORE they got the rona.
27 year old pitcher developer myocarditis from COVID-19. Is recovering and heart is back to normal, but wont be able to play this season due to the impact:

No bubble doesn't work.
The effects on any football season will be worse. More players and fewer ways/days to make games up.

Clevinger and Plesac, two-fifths of the Indians' rotation that has a major-league-best 2.43 ERA, were optioned to Cleveland's alternate site and will spend at least 10 days away from the major league team.
Reasonable.

Hoax or real virus, you are still intentionally exposing teammates to a virus that could kill or permanently damage them. That's extremely selfish behavior.

The longtime play-by-play man for the Cincinnati Reds exited the broadcast booth Wednesday and begged for forgiveness after video showed him using a homophobic slur on a hot mic earlier in the day.
“One of the f-g capitals of the world,” Thom Brennaman could be heard saying before introducing the Fox Sports Ohio TV broadcast between the Reds and Royals in Kansas City.
The 56-year-old later exited the second game of the scheduled doubleheader after videos of the incident made the rounds on social media.
