Germany on the brink.... 83 minutes in...

And Mexico just looked terrible today. Though the PK Sweden was given was crap.

Also, still unsure how the Korean player who was taken down in the box by the German who lowered his shoulder into the guy, got the yellow card?

Goodbye Germany. A little surprised they allowed that goal for Korea.

So, our final 16 are basically Europe + South America, with 2 other teams (Japan/Mexico)

I keep watching that Germany video. Too funny.

Also, how is the U.S. doing this year? :D

We're doing as well as Italy and the Netherlands.

On the one hand, go Spain. On the other hand, I'd hate for Ignashevich's to die.

Russia wins making England's route that much easier.

538 now ranks England 3rd most likely.

Belgium is currently getting their asses kicked. Probably should have lost to England.

Well... that changed quickly (from 2-0 Japan, to 2-2)

Amazing they came back from that. Of course, it was Japan and not a true soccer power.

Even when Japan was up 1-0, 538 gave Belgium better odds to win (like 55/45)... at 2-0, 538 still gave Belgium 26%
