The only time I watch the Juicer international games sponsored by zika is when it's on in the pub and there's nothing else.

Biles' coach Aimee Boorman complained on Twitter: “@AlTrautwig actually they are her parents.”

Trautwig deleted his tweet and apologized in an NBC statement: "I regret that I wasn’t more clear in my wording on the air... To set the record straight, Ron and Nellie are Simone’s parents."
Wait, what? You regret you weren't more clear when you said something that turned out to be 100% counter to reality? Why can't you just man the fuck up and say "I was wrong"?

I hate that wrong-not-wrong bullshit.
Simone Biles is adopted, was his point. But yeah, I've never heard of not calling an adoptee's adopted parents their parents.

Yeah, I get that it's not really a big mistake. All the more reason to just say "I was wrong" instead of the "I regret I wasn't more clear" crap that has completely taken the place of publicly admitting to any sort of error.

The two party candidates in this election don't even go that far.

One just completely changes the story (Hillary's campaign claiming the FBI cleared her of anything illegal when they did the exact opposite) and the other rolls around in his ignorance and stubbornness like a hog in shit.

You'd think the olympics would have someone there who really knew how to maintain a pool.

Hah!

For the record, yes, hand on heart.
The US Code (Titles 4 and 36) specifies four circumstances for rendering the hand-over-heart salute:

1. When the US flag is raised or lowered
2. When the US flag is carried past in a review or parade
3. When reciting the pledge of allegiance
4. When the national anthem is played

I don't. I don't say the Pledge, either.

I stand at ease during the national anthem.

I thought standing at ease was respectful and earned by my veteran status.

I gave four years of my life, but I guess the folks who reach their hands all the way up to their heart are the ones who really sacrifice... :D

"We have learned that chemistry is not an exact science," Andrada said.
There's their problem: yes it is.

At this point they should just dump like a million aquarium snails in the pool.

TRIGGER WARNING: This reply may include elements of disagreement with a prior statement made by a person that is not the author of this reply.

I would like to point out that thanks to the effects of quantum mechanics chemistry isn't entirely an exact science. I would be happy to discuss this interesting topic with you if you are so inclined but first I want to assure you that this reply is not an attempt to start an argument.
