A couple years ago when I was trying to get my head wrapped around the concept of all-grain brewing.... a process which involves steeping grains for a long time at a certain temperature, using customized equipment, to get all your malt from the grains instead of a malt extract... I asked my brewing guy why you couldn't just put all your grains in a bag and steep them like tea in your regular brew kettle, and then not worry about all the process of sparging and striking and whatnot with multiple pots. My brew guy couldn't really fault my logic.

So then these guys did my idea.
