Windows 10 across the board. Again, the server has a RAID card that does its own boot.

Laptops are probably around 10s from Sleep mode.
Ahh. Well, I have no suggestions on getting those 3 seconds. I'll time mine for exact comparison, because this is really important. . . . All of my SSD devices are laptops as well.

What's curious, is I have an MSI laptop that says NOTHING about an SSD. But it boots super fast. I'll time that one too. I'm wondering if a hybrid drive made it in there, but not on the specs.

Home users won't notice this, but MS's latest forced update (KB4338819) hit last week and it's causing problems.

This is the second MS update in a row that has locked up PCs in my organization by maxing out the HD utilization.

Thankfully, I have absolutely no way to reach out to anyone who actually works for MS...

I wonder if you claimed you knew people pirating microsoft products, if you'd get someone to call. I see f'n TV commercials looking for whistle blowers.

Certainly, but they wouldn't help me get anywhere else.

Remember, I've been audited by MS twice in 2 years, and the auditors didn't actually work for MS.

At this point I'm wondering if their board are their only actual employees.

MS is trying to train updates to install at better times.

Here's a thought...make your update process not crash PCs due to running anti-virus.

If your PC is taking a while to shut down, it could be because of a USB-C bug.

lol.

My laptop keyboard stopped working today. Corrupter Standard PS/2 driver. Cannot delete it, remove it, etc. (Keyboard worked fine in BIOS).

Called support, they spent > 1 hour trying to fix it. No dice.

"Refreshed" windows. So have to install all my fucking software all over again.

Super productive day of work
