I always wondered about this very thing. Kaspersky is rated as the #1 anti-virus solution, but they're Russian. It doesn't take a big stretch in logic to see where that could get abused.
Trend is #2 and U.S. based.

I feel dirty every time I install Chinese cameras in facilities. People keep buying them though because they are the cheapest out there (subsidized by the Chinese government). As in, the company is owned (major holder) by the Chinese government. Not just made in China.
