It said mine hadn't. All I had to do was enter my credit card number and expiration date, and it determined I was safe.

Based on that article, Equifax can go fuck itself.

They noticed this happened a month ago and they're just now telling us?

Signing up for their "free" credit monitoring waives your right to sue them for damages?

Fuck you Equifax.

This is not true. The terms were amended yesterday to remove it.

We used to get a shitload of data from various financial sources at my last job. We had to filter and collate it all to build up DB tables. Equifax was the absolute last authority we'd use because their data was almost 100% contradictory, incomplete, or otherwise unusable. They always exuded "we suck."
