I was mildly hopeful that Russia and England would play each other in the World Cup, and Putin-May would have a side bet about Russia finally telling the truth if England won.

I think this calls for full scale war. Fire up the draft board, we're starting a land war in Asia.

I cannot wait for Trump + McConnell's response to these incidents.

I'm kind of shocked left wing Yahoo ran with it.

It does gives credibility to that (I forget the name) report and Trump supporters that say all the Russian meddling was going on under Obama.

I thought everyone knew that embassies were massive spy platforms, and allies spy on allies more than they spy on enemies.

Tom Clancy has been using it as plot points since the 1980s.

These weren't embassies. At least in the story I linked. They were "vacation houses".

But yes, anyone who doesn't realize even allies spy on one another is an idiot.

I meant in general. And I bet a dollar that an embassy official is still somewhere in every spy's chain of command, or at least phone tree.

Cell phone detection cameras coming to a kangaroo near you.

In our local urban center the cops have stopped using the cameras for tickets as there are several court challenges. This will probably go the same way.

Ha! I just realized they're taxing speeding and cell phone use while driving.

Our town removed all of its red light cameras a while ago. Good fucking riddance.

Toledo still has uniformed peeps hiding behind trees and stuff with speed cameras. This bypasses the "officer must be present at the infraction" rule that is getting automated cameras thrown out.

Funniest is that Ohio already banned them, but a Toledo judge blocked it so the ban cant officially take affect until it goes through the courts.

THAT BEING SAID.... I drive across Toledo twice a day, every day. I hardly ever see cops, and the streets are pretty much Mad Max, any more. I see road ragers almost every day. often directed at me. :-D Peeps just refuse to zipper merge.
