Say, if she got in a coma, and was going to be stuck there forever, but mentally still very alive.

(Yes, pulled from the Black Mirror episode)

I asked my wife what she would do, and she said "Maybe," then asked me, and I said "mmm, probably not."

She got offended :) I said, "Hey, I've had hours to ponder this, it's a new question to you."

My wife doesn’t know or understand this, but she would enjoy death more than unfiltered access to my thoughts.

More like I would prefer death to the unceasing, unfiltered thoughts of an overly emotional being.

I think my wife could handle my thoughts, but she's hella OCD and her thoughts on the standards of cleanliness would drive me to madness within days.
