1 - The first one is a lie. You use more than 10% already.
2 - Hmmm.
3 - Does this include animals? I'm not expecting anything deep in animal minds, but I'd sure like to know what my dog's thinking sometimes.
4 - At first this seems beneficial... but it's not like I get that injured to begin with. What would I do, become a Youtube star?
5 - Already make pretty dank memes, tyvm.

Since it's only a year I'd go with the most legit way to set me up for life in that year. Either:

Pill #1. Assuming the implication is that you'd be super duper smart. I'm with Catt and I think it's incorrect you don't use more than 10%, so I'm subbing in Rick Sanchez level smart. Invent a ton of useful items. Get patents on them. Live off royalty payments. Take impeccable notes on how to use my portal gun.

Pill #3. Crush the Texas Hold-em circuit. This one is lesser, as it's cheating. I wouldn't have to cheat anyone in option 1.

Other pills aren't as useful to me.

You're kidding. This isn't even a question.

1) Fuck that. My brain is doing fine.

2) Cha-ching. I pick this. Then I'm going to get a multi-year deal in every major sport with guaranteed millions for a decade. Just need the right agent. Even if it's only $1-2M secured for five years, I'm set for life.

3) Most people's thoughts are worth thinking, let alone recycling or using meaningfully.

4) Pain is there to keep you safe.

5) See #1.

I think 3 and 4 are the only real choices.

The question becomes can you offset what you'll do for personal gain by saving lives or righting wrongs?

(Read minds) Does exposing some massive governmental or corporate conspiracy, like a cure for cancer not being released, offset the number of people you'll manipulate for a better job, more money, sex, etc.?

(No injury or pain) Would single handedly eliminating ISIS offset all the kick ass heists you could pull off?

Actually, if you had no injury or pain, you could go wipe out cartels and take all their money for yourself.

And then on day 366 you are dead.

Earlier IMO. Cartels, and the other example, ISIS, aren't stupid. Just because you can't be shot to death or something else doesn't mean you couldn't be locked in a room when you slept and starved/dehydrated. It just wouldn't be horribly painful, like dying that way normally would be.

You don't have super human strength. If you get caught, they just stick you in a prison to starve to death.

Wait, why do I have to offset things?

What - it's Spider Man not Super Man. Superman was the only superhero I know of that was able to hide his powers sufficiently to play sports.

How you gonna use Spidey powers to dominate pro sports?

According to wikipedia....
Immediately after the bite, he was granted his original powers: primarily superhuman strength, reflexes, and balance; the ability to cling tenaciously to most surfaces; and a subconscious ability to sense everything in his surroundings, which he called a "spider-sense".

What killed you? Not the injuries you didn't suffer. Do you mean they'd come find you? Wear a damn mask.

That's your opinion. I think generally they are stupid. They have people within capable of intelligent thought, but the very concept of the organizations themselves are not things smart people would join because of the high chance for death by friend and/or foe.

Don't get caught. Start by not having such defeatist attitudes!

Go with guns. You think they're going to stop and say, "Oh shit, he's invulnerable, but we can just capture him" because invulnerable people are everywhere and people just know how to deal with them... Or do you think they're going to run from the guy with guns and who seems to be invincible?

I read just fine. One year of playing time should secure me some decent multi-year, multi-million dollar contract guarantees. I can spontaneously retire whenever I want for whatever reason I want to make up, say about a year after I start playing. I wouldn't touch #3 or #4. Is the mind-reading like a radio, can I turn it on and off at will with no issue ... or do I have to listen to everyone around me all the fucking time?

And I reiterate on #4, pain is there to keep you safe. I'm talking about when the year wears off and you have to go back to being human, mortal, and vulnerable. Spider-man can still get hurt.
