Well, shitfuck. I posted a reply earlier... but I was saying that the WSJ's criticisms seem somewhat unfounded based on the excerpts provided. But it could just be the Times trying to fire a few bullets at the WSJ.

The WSJ is by far the best news source in our country.

FOX is pulling its news show from Sky in the UK.

Apparently, it has no audience and the English wonder how Americans can watch talking heads while waiting for the next story to break. Plus, FOX is attempting to buy Sky and this will help somehow.

Here's CNN's story.

Here is The Guardian's.

I love how they're referred to as a "controversial news outlet". As if all the other American news outlets haven't been caught lying and being biased. A CNN anchor cried on air when Trump won. How is that being unbiased?

Journalists have decided that they have been too hard on the democratic party.

http://thefederalist.com/2017/09/19/aft ... democrats/
Who is at “fault” for the election of Donald Trump, they ask, as if Clinton had been predestined to wear her crown. And did journalists do enough to propel history in the proper direction?

There is plenty of data available on this question. It’s difficult to believe this now, but at one point a number of top media outlets considered the first-ever FBI investigation of a major presidential candidate in the history of the republic to be somewhat newsworthy. So they proceeded to cover the candidate’s many lies, her purging of somewhere around 30,000 pieces of evidence, and the FBI’s she’s-so-freaking-guilty-but-not-guilty verdict. And when authorities uncovered a computer that should have been in the possession of the FBI but was instead accessible to the sex-addicted husband of a top Hillary aide, they reported that, as well. This should have all been ignored.

Pretty sure I saw somewhere earlier today that they wiretapped him where he lived at Trump Tower. I could be wrong about that. Like, 70% sure I heard that.

Trump makes a very specific charge here: That he, Donald Trump, was personally the target of surveillance at his home or office in Trump Tower, during the election. He made clear his specific meaning in several follow-up tweets. “Is it legal for a sitting President to be ‘wire tapping’ a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier,” Trump wrote. (No further information has shed light on why Trump believed Obama had been turned down by a court earlier.) “I'd bet a good lawyer could make a great case out of the fact that President Obama was tapping my phones in October,” he wrote. “How low has President Obama gone to tapp [sic] my phones during the very sacred election process.”
...
The existence of two separate warrants cleared through courts contradicts the claim that Obama ordered the surveillance. Adding another wrinkle to the story, Trump claimed that he had been “wiretapped” at Trump Tower, and Manafort also kept an apartment in the building, but it is not known whether the FBI surveilled that property. Manafort also owns several other homes; there are accusations that some of them may have been used for money-laundering, while The New York Times reported that FBI agents picked a lock to conduct a no-knock raid on an apartment in Alexandria, Virginia.
So, no, Trump's accusations were not proven, at all.

Finally, earlier this month, Trump’s own Justice Department said in a court filing that it had no evidence for his claim. “Both FBI and [the National Security Division] confirm that they have no records related to wiretaps as described by the March 4, 2017 tweets,” a motion said.

I really don't care what Trump himself said, but according to the press's own stories there were FISA warrants on members of the Trump campaign before the election. Stories were being leaked to reporters about that before Trump made those claims. So Trump took a legit story and said something stupid and made it into something maybe more than it was or maybe he just needed to make it about him.

But here's the deal. Instead of looking at their own reporting and investigating (that thing that reporters used to do) what was happening with these warrants, they applied their resources towards accusing him of lying and making that case.

I also want to know why James Clapper is held up as some sort of trusted expert after he lied to congress about data collection and lied to the reporters and the public about no FISA warrants on Trump or anyone in his campaign existing? That source should be burned and I hold anyone that uses him suspect at this point.

So Trump's a guy who spouts off without confirming facts and the MSM is clearly biased...right?

Hannity calls Clinton "President" and the left wing MSM can't stop talking about it. (I grabbed the first link in my FB page.)

I love that the left is trying to distract from their sins by pointing out the sins and gaffes of the right, while the right is trying to distract from their sins by pointing out the sins of the left.

Meanwhile, the average American citizen keeps getting the shaft.

Yay politics!

I'm not a huge fan of either Trump of Hannity, but I was really confused as to why this was considered as newsworthy as it was.

CNN had a headline last night about "Don Jr.'s tweet about Socialism backfires spectacularly". The headline has since been changed, and here's the article.

Wow. How "spectacular". That, of course, assumes you agree with the Twitter comment by the guy who doesn't understand the difference between socialism and charity.

CNN running a headline about FOX News employees wanting to quit over Russia coverage. This is simply pathetic and bad form. When you have to run headlines to bash your competition, it says more about you than them.

For some reason, this is breaking news at CNN right now: Trump didn't dismiss idea of meeting with Putin.
"He didn't say yes and he didn't say no," the official said, declining to be more specific about Trump's response to Papadopoulos.
Let me say again, Fox is as biased as it gets, but anyone saying CNN is unbiased is a moron.

WH press secretary has to chide a reporter for suggesting the WH supports slavery.

The reporter, a black woman and proclaimed Dem, was clearly trying to goad what's her face into saying something dumb. Way to be unbiased and report the news instead of creating it!

Fox News bans Gene Simmons for life.

Why? Because he showed up and acted like an asshole. Read the article.

However, I love this part of the article:
The trouble started Wednesday morning after the Israeli-born Simmons—birth name: Chaim Witz, who dresses like a preening teenager at age 68—appeared on Fox & Friends and Maria Bartiromo’s Fox Business Network show, Mornings with Maria, to promote his new bookOn Power.
Emphasis mine. Not only did the reporter take a personal shot, but the editor allowed it.

Journalism in 2017.

Truth. I don't think Fox or Simmons "lost" here. Simmons looks like an aging rock star who still thinks the world revolves around him, which is totally rock and roll. Fox looks responsible.

It's win-win.

Project Veritas is kind of exposing themselves. Are you about truth in media, or just slapping around leftist reporters? Because they actually showed journalistic integrity by doing their due diligence on the woman you sent in with the bogus Moore story. They should be giving the WaPo credit on this one. Instead they are trying to fund raise off of it. Project Veritas is dead to me.
