And who you talk to.
To my dad and uncles, I'm the most far left person they know. I'm constantly defending Democrats to them.
To some of my friends, I'm more right wing because they're so left.

She presented this as having happened to her. I'm arguing that reality DOES matter. You're the one suggesting it doesn't because it happened to someone else.
Given this logic, Brian Williams should be getting his job back. Because even though the things he reported happening didn't happen to him, it obviously happened to someone.
Any one accused of rape should be thrown in jail without a trial. It doesn't matter if they actually did it. Someone was raped by someone.

OK, it matters, and seems like it may have happened. The facts line up, but we don't have enough detail/proof either way.

See, here's where you just get stupid. Again. The above debate is about society and policy, and you're saying it's the same thing as a criminal complaint and the justice system. That's insane. If you cannot tell the difference between an anecdote and testimony, that's your problem.
I think I did a fine job. I said the truth matters. You said it doesn't. She lied about it. It's on video. You're saying she didn't say what she said she said. I can't help you with that level of detachment from reality.
You like her so much, you should marry her.

Bless your heart. You can't understand my words, or hers.

I really love Babylon Bee. They're a Christian satire site, but they are not very partisan. They frequently go after religious figures for being Trump shills.
Someone had the theory (and I think I believe it) that Snopes fact checks them as much as they do because the Bee's Twitter reach is much greater than Snopes. So they fact check a satire piece to annoy people and generate clicks.
