Then you get stuck always waiting for the next one.

This has a good battery, but the next one has voice recognition, and so on.

Anti-Semite Dem freshman now calling Obama a murderer.

No, but seriously, the Dems might not have a slam dunk the next election. As screwed up as the Republicans are, the Dems are just as bad or worse.

The fuck is up with this woman?

The Fox News’ of the world latched on to AOC, who Is certainly naive, but is at least not actively trying to poison the voting well.

Omar is just a vile asshole. I thought some of her statements were just misinterpreted. Na, she just sucks.

A Dem "megadonor" shits on the idea of taxing the rich.

This quote also showcases how fractured the Dems have become:
He lamented a divide in the Democratic party between centrists and the progressives.

“It's a shame that there's been a bifurcation,” he says. “I found myself the other day in an interview saying I'm not a socialist, I'm a capitalist.”
Also from the article:
Ocasio-Cortez’s tax proposal is supported by 45% of voters, while 32% of voters oppose it, according to a Morning Consult poll that surveyed 1,993 voters last month. Warren’s proposal outperformed the Ocasio-Cortez proposal in the same poll. Sixty-one percent of voters favored the Warren proposal, including 50% of Republicans
The 45% that think AOC's plan is good should immediately have their voting rights revoked. They're too stupid, lazy, or greedy to cast a well informed vote.

Even the non-religious may someday regret removing the whole "thou shalt not covet" part from the public arena.

Pelosi takes a shot at AOC.

Speaking of AOC, she's got something in common with Trump.

From what I've heard in her own district the dislike number goes even higher. Guess her response to the polls. Did you guess call everyone racist? If so, you win.

The Dem base is older, more moderate, and less educated than most people believe.

Duh.

Sanders admits he's a millionaire in advance of releasing his tax returns. Primary opponents will have a field day juxtaposing his anti millionaire/billionaire rhetoric against this release statement. When asked about it he said if you want to be a millionaire then write a successful book.

Encouraging. As it means he still believes in some form/amount of capitalism.

I'd posit that he only had a successful book because he was already famous for trying to sell that someone else was the reason for all of your problems.

More likely he believes as most socialist leaders throughout history that socialism is needed for everyone else ("Socialism for thee, not for me"). I suspect we'll see his charitable giving will also show he's a lot of talk about helping those that are victims of the system.

CNN's top story overall is an article bashing Sanders.

I was discussing at lunch today who CNN wants to win the nod, and right now I think it's Beto.

His tax records show that the senator and his wife, Jane O’Meara Sanders, reported adjusted gross income of more than $1.1 million in 2017 and more than $1 million in 2016, helped by the proceeds of his 2016 book, “Our Revolution,” which chronicled his presidential primary bid against Hillary Clinton. They paid total federal taxes in 2018 of $145,840 on $561,293 in adjusted gross income, an effective tax rate of 26%.

Sanders actually gave more to charity than I would have expected. His continued attacks on capitalism are weird, though. The election tactic of telling everyone they're going to pay more taxes if he wins also seems a bit odd.

Because for most people, taxes wouldn’t change much. The rich would get soaked, not them.

I'm not sure of the socialist country that actually happened in.

Here's something you don't see everyday. An entertainment company sends a cease and desist to a Democrat.

DC Comics pissed about AOC Wonder Woman image/comic.

AOC as Wonder Woman? Wow, the hyperbole is strong with whoever created that.

Agree.

And DC is certainly in the right... But I kinda wish I had one of those things now.
