Vince wrote: Yeah, you have to destroy the free market to save the free market. Honestly, if you want to know what those people accomplished, they got majorities in the House and Senate and at least threw up a speed bump against Obama for the last 6 years. While Trump was still making donations to the ones that were getting in OUR way. Making the country whiter has nothing to do one way or the other with replacing the ACA with something equally bloated and centralized and in federal control. I really don't understand what the point of winning elections is if we're just going to abandon our principles and become liberal socialists in practice "because Trump". I people that used to call themselves conservative keep debasing themselves to agree with Trump on his big government schemes, there will be no difference in the two parties within a couple of years. It'll be about jerseys rather than ideas and principles.
WE DO NOT HAVE A FREE MARKET. Hello, Obamacare? What have these principles done for us? Hooray, we won't win another election but we'll have our principles! We'll never actually change anything, but we'll have our principles!

Would I like to live in a free country? Hell yes. But I don't have that choice. I have a choice between living in America under Hillary or America under Trump. America under Hillary means more immigration and amnesty and millions more Democrat voters to whom the enlightenment means nothing: it's all GIBS ME DAT.

You COULD make a case for "the worse the better." I would actually kind of agree with that case. But you're not. You're making the same tired, worthless, loser argument about "principles." Ok. You're playing by a set of rules that the other team isn't following. Good luck with that.

I was actually semi quoting Bush with the free market thing from back in the '08 disaster.

Yes, I have my principles. Under Trump, it looks like we will be national socialists rather than international socialists under Democrats. Yes, I have my principles. Which will be much more than those on either side of the European socialism model will have. Good luck with that.

I don't want socialism either, but more than that, I don't want to live in a 3rd world hell-hole. The choice is not: socialism or my principles. The choice is: 3rd world hell-hole or not.

Hate crimes against Muslims up.

And yes, they link it to the elections, so it's Trump's fault.

TBH, ~5500 hate crimes in a nation of 300M isn't that bad. Yes, zero is better, but I that's 1 hate crime for every 7 people who die in a car.

Does that include the fake ones?

Not really sure how you think Trump's bad trade policies and huge deficit spending are going to stop us from collapsing into a third world economy.

That's funny.

Amend my headline to say non-elected, private citizens.

Bonus points for them ultra rich, which is the bane of progressives.

You know what was worse than the Great Recession? The Great Depression

To be fair to Trump, I think a really bad downturn would happen under Hillary as well. But I'd rather she gets the blame for it. If it occurs 10 minutes after Trump is sworn in, they won't let him off the hook.

Seriously Carson... WTF?
"Dr. Carson was never offered a specific position, but everything was open to him," Williams told The Hill in a phone call.

"Dr. Carson feels he has no government experience, he's never run a federal agency. The last thing he would want to do was take a position that could cripple the presidency."
You freakin' RAN FOR PRESIDENT! Now no experience is a bad thing?

Apparently it didn't hurt Obama!

I think some of these guys, rightfully, think the president is a figurehead and distributor of duties, not someone who actually does said duties.

I said third world COUNTY. Not economy.

It's the immigration, stupid. We are importing literal barbarians, with negative productivity. This has to stop; otherwise, every single government policy is irrelevant.

Carson's a tard, so I'm OK with this.

I'm super surprised Carson doesn't want anything. He's been loyal to Trump since very early in the campaign compared to most Republicans. I think he's an idiot, but even a hater wouldn't have blinked an eye at him taking something easy and continuing to be a hype guy for Donald. Confusing.

We are importing literal barbarians
We are growing literal dumb-asses. I worry about the growing numbers of them more than the Visigoths crossing the border. You can build an entire electrified fence across the border, but you'll still have domestic dipshits to deal with.

I don't disagree entirely. Immigration should be controlled and focused on skills. Clinton, W, and Obama kinda fucked us here.
