Dow closes at an all time high.

The completely unbiased US News made sure to run a counter story about 8 CEOs who have concerns about Trump.

Please note companies they went to include: Starbucks, Facebook, Apple, etc. Hmmm, what do the presidents/CEOs of those companies all have in common?

Back to the voters, through this whole election we kept seeing how many uneducated people were voting Trump. Keeping track of this is clearly an attempt to tell people that if you vote for Trump you're stupid. But it made me curious. I'd like to see a breakdown of the minority Trump voters. I want to see their education numbers and employment numbers versus non-educated or employed minority voters. I wonder what kind of picture those numbers would paint?

The petition to do so is creeping up on 3mil signatures. This is going around facebook.

https://www.change.org/p/electoral-coll ... ecember-19
On December 19, the Electors of the Electoral College will cast their ballots. If they all vote the way their states voted, Donald Trump will win. However, they can vote for Hillary Clinton if they choose. Even in states where that is not allowed, their vote would still be counted, they would simply pay a small fine - which we can be sure Clinton supporters will be glad to pay!

I wrote this on facebook but didn't have the balls to publish it. Enjoy.
So now we've been accused of being bad parents because of the way one of us voted, which is AWESOME.

But it reminds me of a conversation Dawn and I had a while back while we were leaving the Church of Satan. You know, the one off 795.

Anyway, we were walking out of Black Mass and Dawn says, "Geez Steve, you know what I almost love as much as you, Will, and the devil?"

I answered, "Hmmm. There isn't much you love as much as Beelzebub. Bigotry?" I guessed.

She said, "Nope, guess again."

"Racism?"

"Nope."

"Wow, I know you really love being such a racist. Hmmmm," I was starting to get stumped. "Going to all those KKK meetings with the other people who voted for Trump?"

"Nope," she said, "the answer to the only thing I love more than the Prince of Darkness is Trump!"

Shocked, I said, "Wait a second, no fair. Trump IS the Prince of Darkness!"

She started to laugh, "I know, on top of being an evil racist bigot, I'm also a liar!"

I laughed with her and we hugged. "Satan and I love you," I said.

She smiled at me and said, "Satan and I love you too, Steve."

+++

Just a typical night with a couple peeps who didn't vote for Hillary. The secret is out.

The good:
Trump kicks Chris Krispy Kream Christie to the curb from his transition team.

The bad:
Might not repeal Obamacare after all
He's still talking about a 1 trillion dollar stimulus package.

One step forward and two steps back. I think we are going to have a Republican FDR. If he screws this up I think the Republicans will get wiped out in 2 years.

Here's another thing I don't have the balls to post on facebook. I think a lot of people NEED to see it, but I'd really rather just disengage from the conversation.
I like this guy because he says cuss words with an english accent, like a very angry Doctor Who.

If someone else posts it I might share it.

This was where I got it wrong. I thought the Republicans nominated the one guy that couldn't beat Hillary when in actuality the Democrats nominated the one candidate that couldn't beat Trump.

Going back to the '50s, each time that's happened, they piss it away fairly quickly. The last time they didn't was when Babe Ruth still played pro ball.

Not arguing that. I'm questioning your claim of their demise.

He's either going to:

1) follow through on all the batshit crazy things he said

OR

2) not

If the former, he's going to be heralded as the next Hoover. If the latter, he's the next traitorous Gerald Ford. The good news is his policies could be anything, because I don't think he knows what the fuck he's going to or wants to do. For some odd reason, I find myself agreeing with V. He's going to fumble around in the dark and randomly spitball ideas which may develop into an economic plague mercifully by the time he's out of office. Unless WWIII gets going to spur things along, in which case all bets are off.

Trump is decidedly NOT small government. Yes, he wants to reduce regulations, but he'll more than make up for that with massive new spending.

The outsider is tapping insiders.
Donald Trump elicited wild cheers on the campaign trail by pledging to “drain the swamp” in Washington, but the president-elect’s transition team is populated largely with creatures of the capital, including former federal bureaucrats, think-tank academics, corporate lawyers and special-interest lobbyists.
The article is a role call of partisan shills.

Watching lowlights from the 60 Minutes interview. The left should bee bowing to a Trump idol behind the scenes. He's destroying the small government constitutional movement on the right.

To play devil's advocate: what have those people accomplished anyway? Bake the cake, bigot!

To play Trump's advocate: you know who else is decidedly not small government? THIRD WORLD IMMIGRANTS. If you want to have ANY hope of a return of small government...you better hope the country gets a lot whiter.

Yeah, you have to destroy the free market to save the free market. Honestly, if you want to know what those people accomplished, they got majorities in the House and Senate and at least threw up a speed bump against Obama for the last 6 years. While Trump was still making donations to the ones that were getting in OUR way. Making the country whiter has nothing to do one way or the other with replacing the ACA with something equally bloated and centralized and in federal control. I really don't understand what the point of winning elections is if we're just going to abandon our principles and become liberal socialists in practice "because Trump". I people that used to call themselves conservative keep debasing themselves to agree with Trump on his big government schemes, there will be no difference in the two parties within a couple of years. It'll be about jerseys rather than ideas and principles.

In most ways this has already been so for many years. The only real exceptions I can think of are gun control, abortion, gay marriage, and to a lesser extent drug laws.
