She seems pretty credible. Very specific on details. Thinking she may be legit. Still don't care other than the spectacle of it all. I am not. And I'm not saying that a lot of these companies aren't doing this because they are wanting to promote tax policy that is good for them. But there are also companies that are recognizing that this is a) good PR and b) needed in a job market that is becoming more and more competitive. Disney is a progressive shit hole and I'd lump them in the latter camp.
Edit: Let's just say I have a hard time believing that a company that unethically if not illegally abused the STEM VISA program in order to replace their US IT staff with cheaper labor from and India contractor, and then forced the soon to be replaced workers to train said Indian workers under threat of blackballing from any Disney property really is giving employees a bonus because they give a fuck about their employees. If anything, it's because of the bad press from the above story that they're doing this. But they can't site that in their press release.
