Thank you! I was genuinely concerned that a massive political event was happening and I hadn't yet heard from actors. Whew!

Well, technically you still haven't heard from Tennant. He didn't write the tweets, he just read them out in the proper accent.

Considering it was a part of a skit from Samantha Bee's show and she's crazy left wing, I'll label it as a political statement and not just entertainment.

Here's other noted left wing nutjob John Oliver weighing in a rant that has leftie's touching themselves in smug joy.

Now, now, Oliver is absolutely a liberal but he's certainly a somewhat moderate one. There are a great many people that are far leftier, far wingier, and far nuttierjobbier than he is. Such as, for example, Samantha Bee.

Fair enough. I've been sour on Oliver since he left The Daily Show. He seems to be going off the rails, and was already farther left than Stewart. And say what you will about Stewart and O'Reilly, their friendship proves that folks can be on opposite sides of the spectrum and still get along and respect one another. I point that out because I believe folks don't think that's possible.

In other news, an R from Kentucky wants to do "#amexit" from the UN.

What I find interesting about this move is that it actually aligns with left thinking. We'd be involved in less conflict and we'd be minding our own business...

On the other hand, they like the idea of yet another layer of government above the current federal one, telling them what to do.

Ways to short-circuit Brexit.
However, since winning the vote, several leading "Leave" voices have admitted that Britain may be forced to keep its borders open to EU citizens if it wants access to the bloc's lucrative single market.

"It's an issue that [anti-EU leaders] did not want to expose during the campaign, but as soon as they got the vote, it's clear as day," according to Professor Steven Fielding at Nottingham University.

This might lead to a situation where the next leader of the ruling Conservative party — most likely former London mayor and pro-Brexit campaigner Boris Johnson — would be faced with triggering Article 50 but not giving millions of "Leave" voters the immigration controls they wanted.
Hello, bait, and hello, switch.

Russians being blamed there as well.

How smug do you have to be to think, "My side lost. Must have been rigged because I know most people would agree with me."

I was reading yesterday some article about how England was going to be so fucked for not letting in endless Syrian refugees.

The article didn't specifically explain how.

One error I find with Chrome is Ctrl+C randomly won't work. Usually the error is it grabs nothing, but if I've already grabbed a link previously, it doesn't overwrite the previous one.

Anyway, fixed it (even in the quotes).

Dragging the FB data leak into it and claiming "cheating".

I guess this is the new reality: "We didn't win, so you cheated."
