I don't think the market share was determined by the interface, it was determined by the fact the MS OS ran on IBM machines. Mac has always been considered to be the better interface, but, it didn't run on PCs, so, it didn't matter. Now MS has an OS that runs on IBM machines as well as seeming like...

Has anyone found anything at all that doesn't run under Win7 Home? Still haven't decided if XP mode is worth the extra $30. Anything I run that MIGHT care isn't going to be upgraded to Win7 anyways. I'm just looking at games and VNC. VNC doesn't list Win7 yet, that I've found. So, curious if anyone...

Also again, I was reading the forum for DVDfab. You probably figured this out already, but there's no BLU-RAY to AVI (or file) option yet. But, it's on the 'to do list'. But, it will convert them to DVD I believe which can then be converted to file. Obvious quality loss, but, the convenience factor...

Also, I'm digging FU right now. More streamlined meathod getting my Archos quality conversions going. Not a faster process, but fewer settings to mess with. Run with the defaults except for resolution. Check it out before purchasing DVDfab. Haven't even looked at the price though. Don't need to for...

What's the native size though? Is 1.5 smaller, but same quality? That being said. I did the same thing. Made a handfull of AVIs with different settings and picked the one that got me the biggest bang for HDD space. 700MB was what I settled on for the Archos. And it happens to be good enough for lap...

Because you made me look. . . I'm working on some more conversions for the Archos. My VERY expired version of DVDfab still works too. Not sure what expires. . . Anyway, as a refresher to how I did it (I don't remember the details), I hit the Archos forums to see what was the easiest way for our dev...
