Worse than I thought. . . Turns out, when HL2 was in 7.1 mode, I was missing a lot of the audio. I noticed this in one scene were two people were having a conversation with me, and off in the distance, there were vehicles and helicopters milling about. Depending on which direction I was facing, I w...

That's exactly what I'm going to do, Leisher. Had done more research last night and came up with the Magalodon as the next choice. I'm waiting for a few Best Buy reward coupons to show up, then I'm returning the G35 and ordering the Magalodon. It gets good reviews for suround sound as well as comfo...

My old headset broke. Had a REALLY thin wire going up to the head phones and it started shorting and became unusable. So, I bought a new set. Logitech G35 7.1 surround sound with buttons and volume control on the left ear. Played Half Life 2:EP2 cause you could set it to 7.1 mode. Playing the game,...

I downloaded the demo and played a bit. But not enough to form an opinion. So far, it's been lag free. But, I'm playing a campaign and unit options are very limited, so, battles are very small. Not sure the the different stuff I'm seeing in the campaign apply to multi play either. Like the extra po...

It looks like a station wagon. But I still think you are mistaken about what vehicle you own.

Ya, but a lot of people talk that way. Anyone "axing" if they can go home early? Maybe, if those are direct quotes, he's trying to show his perception of the ignorance of people in small towns?

What numbers was it? 10-20, 20-??, 15-30, etc. I was using the 10-20s for easy cash when I was low. I could run through them pretty quickly and after sending the pet home to sell a few times and collecting other loot, I'd come out with about 10-15k more than I went in with. But, the 10-20s were eas...

I have 6 imps, two iron guys and my pet as well. Then I did 5 zombies, skels and blood skels. I think they all die as well, cause any on screen when he went down, went right down. The bug was in the sense that there were literally thousands of them. I had retreated up into that area a couple times ...

*** SPOILER **** Only in the sense that you will know which level the main bad guy is on. So, I started the game as a fighter at harder level. Found it to be too easy up to level 22. So, I started a second character on hardest as a mage. Found that somewhat more challenging, but could still make go...

I like LAN for the stability it offers. When my son and I multi against each other, it's ALWAYS a LAN game so we don't have to deal with Internet lag.

Sound like a bad eject button being set off by vibration if it's happening as you walk into the room.

If you power down the PC, and the drive still opens when you walk in the room, revisit the haunting thing.

I've only played the space marines so far.

The Tyrnids have the toughest model I've seen so far. Might be the Carnifex or something like that. It was VERY hard to kill.

You still play DoW2 Troy? The single player campaign is massive fun. I can only beat the AI on normal so far. Bumping it to hard, and it beats me pretty quickly. I can beat normal pretty quickly. Hard to find a middle ground to play right now. But the campaign is the best one I've played in a long ...

3. I actually like the cloud thing happening with Torchlight. I use that quite a bit between PC and laptop.

Does that justify DRM? Of course not. Just saying. I hope I see that more.

It looks to me like Chris Taylor is upholding his tradition of making a game that requires hardware that doesn't exist yet. Which is fine. I'm definately going to wait to buy it though. Then I'll save a ton of money on the game, get all the expansions, and will have the PC to run it.

We started the game a few times, because we liked it. We've not experienced a crippling crash like that yet. We've had people get kicked off the server and stuff. But no real quest issues. You have a bar at the bottom of your screen that shows how far you are from the next level. It's green. You ha...
