Like switching from plastic to glass, and releasing more CO2 into the air during the shipping process in order to needlessly save landfill space? :-D

If Satan were running the environmental movement, he couldn't do a more evil job.

Artificial meat

Personally, I find the idea repulsive in a very visceral way. I'm not saying I'd NEVER eat human flesh, but I promise it'll by an Alive situation where it's been several weeks without food, and not because I'd missed breakfast and was peckish.

Artificial meat

It is now possible to grow any type of meat in your kitchen, two pounds at a time. The meat is as marbled or lean as you wish, and is indistinguishable from the real thing. Add any animal DNA, and that meat pops out. People are loving buying endangered DNA on amazon like they're buying Keureg cups. ...

Flying, and the TSA

Never, ever.

Unless like lost in the woods for more than a day, or something like that. But I'd rather go commando (which I do 99% of the time, anyway). And in that case, I don't wear the same pants/shorts two days in a row, either.

I think Amos is the most fascinating character, for me. I can't decide if he has zero morals, or more morals than any of them coupled with an overdeveloped sense of pragmatism. This is a scene from S3. Spoilers probably. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=105&v=pzuu8U-ge7I

Without the threat of an imminent spanking for breaking them, garbage people don't follow rules.

That's very interesting, I always wondered why cars were trying to have a separate on-board computer system when all they had to do was use the computer everyone already has in their pocket, and bluetooth over to it. Didn't know anyone had figured that out, yet. But my head unit doesn't have that, s...

I don't know if this is interesting enough for a thread, but wtf. I'll try. After a million years, I finally got cell phone mounts for my cars. I travel a lot and it's super helpful to have the GPS map up there in front of me, instead of me having to hold it. So I love it. But I hate that now I'm fr...

178237 Wasn't it your jobs to possibly kill people? Fair point, but there's a huge difference between killing an enemy combatant in duty to country versus killing some random innocent for a payday. This is exactly right. Whether it's a dollar, or a billion, you're still garbage that's negotiating t...

Just life experience. There's no study that people would actually be honest about. Humans are scared little apes, huddling around the glow of their screens telling them who to be afraid of, in order to keep the dark at bay. And most will absolutely fuck each other over, if there was guaranteed no co...

No way. 95% of people would push the anonymous button to kill you for the cost of a car payment.
